For natural beauty products, the best place to start is by creating a simple moisturiser. Moisturisers make up a part of most people’s daily beauty routines, and they are so easy to make, you’ll wonder why you ever used to buy them.
The other great thing about these natural beauty moisturisers is that they really work. Because they all use natural ingredients only, you will see results much quicker than if you were using store bought.

Simple DIY Moisturiser

Natural Moisturiser Recipe For the Beginner

This one only takes seconds to make and will keep you feeling and smelling wonderful. The perfect recipe for beginners. Coconut oil for anti-aging mixed with Vitamin E oil for reducing blemishes and acne scarring, and finally lavender oil to relax and to act as an antioxidant.
Once you have these ingredients, all you need to do is melt the coconut oil, and mix it with the Vitamin E and lavender oils. Let it set and you’ve got yourself a wonderfully simple moisturiser. It’s that easy!

For Eczema prone skin

This all-natural recipe is arguably one of the best moisturisers for dry skin

Safe for children to use as well, this moisturiser is not only easy to make, but you will see results in no time at all. All you need are oats for their healthy fats and soothing properties, shea butter deep conditioning, coconut oil, vitamin E oil and lavender essential oil.
Grind the oats down to a powder, melt the coconut oil, and add in the lavender and shea butter. Pour in the oat powder and mix thoroughly then pour in the vitamin E oil. There you have it. Simply, cheap and effective eczema cream safe to use on children too!

For anti-aging

Stuff you’ll find in most natural skin products Australia

All you need for this is almond oil, coconut oil, vitamin E oil, beeswax and shea butter. You can also add in your own essential oil if you want a particular smell. Simply place all the ingredients into a clean jar, and place the bottom half of the jar into a pan of simmering water. Leave it until all the ingredients have melted and you have combined them all properly.
Let it set in a cool, dark place and then it’s all good to go. So simple, and yet so effective. The beeswax and coconut oil make for lovely anti-aging ingredients because of their plumping effect of the skin. The shea butter and vitmin E oil also work wonders by getting rid of blemishes and scars.

These are our top three favourite recipes that are all really simple and yet work wonders on our skin. Remember that essential oils should never be applied directly to a child’s skin, so if in doubt make sure to dilute it before use.
